PDO THREAD LIFT THERAPY
Thread Lift therapy is an effective cosmetic method that lifts and tightens drooping skin tissues by inducing collagen production.
The procedure involves the implantation of absorbable PDO threads into the subcutaneous skin layer. These PDO threads stay implanted in the skin resulting in micro-injuries that stimulate collagen production. After 4-6 months, the threads will be absorbed into the body, leaving the collagen in their place.
The process generally takes 45 minutes, and a local anaesthetic is used for patient comfort. Side effects and downtime are minimal and last typically 2-3 days.
Thread therapy can be carried out on the cheeks, brow, jawline, neck, nasolabial folds and marionette lines, with results lasting 12-18 months.
